Adopt a Beach : February 2022

This month saw much more litter on the beach, probably because Auckland had moved into the Covid-19 Traffic Light Red system giving everyone more freedom. Tangled fibres, including indestructible fishing line, and other bits and bobs that are designed to last (and take a life-time or more to breakdown) - littered the beach. Bait Buddy seems an unnecessary addition to ocean pollution ... and the tiny plastic canisters are so easy to drop overboard too (of course we found our first one washed up on the beach).
