I grew up on the great music of the 60's-70's. CCR has always been one of my favorites. They don't have a bad song! John Fogerty has one of the most unique & recognizable voices around. All their songs are great - "Proud Mary", "Born On The Bayou", "Bad Moon Rising", "Lodi", "Green River", "Commotion", "Night Time Is The Right Time", "Down On The Corner", "Fortunate Son", "Cotton Fields", "Midnight Special", "Travelin' Band", "Who'll Stop The Rain", "Up Around the Bend", "Run Through The Jungle", "Lookin' Out My Back Door", "Long As I Can See the Light", "Suzie Q", "I Put A Spell On You", "Sweet Hitch-Hiker" etc.

Your genuine appreciation for the artistry of CCR's version of "Grapevine" filled my heart. I'd love to be the fly on the wall when you share it with someone else, kick back, and watch their reaction.

I love that you just can't help but start smiling and moving when you start listening to CCR, especially this.

creedence is probably the most underappreciated and underrated 60s band. they had hit after hit. including the standards "proud mary" and "fortunate son." the critics hated them but the public loved them. they appeared at woodstock too. (cut out of the film and the album though. as a few other bands were.) CCR invented country rock and they don't even get credit for that.
on the album "cosmos factory" (1970) this song was over 11 minutes long. with a wonderful, kick ass guitar solo that lasts about 8 minutes long. the record label shortened the song to about 3 1/2 minutes and released it as a single against the band's wishes.
CCR remains one of my favorite bands. side two of their album "bayou country" is one of the best album sides in r&r history.

Love your reactions. Such joy and understanding of each song with limited to no pausing which, in my opinion, interrupts the flow of a song.

So many great songs by this band with their funky country swamp sound, featuring the voice and guitar of John Fogerty.

CCR and John Fogarty created their own genre in the late 1960's early 70's. It's called Swamp Rock.

Glad you’ve discovered one of the greatest Rock geniuses of all time. Singer, songwriter & guitarist. Grew up with CCR and had the pleasure of seeing John Fogerty a few times. Keep spreading the word. Check out Proud Mary so many don’t know he wrote it, as Tina made it so famous. ☮️

For me this is the number one version of "I heard it trough the Grapevine" 💯
John Fogerty´s voice is outstanding! More "CCR and John Fogerty" reaction video!
I wish the next year winner, of the Polar Music Prize is "John Fogerty".
I have suggested 4 musicians to the Polar Music Prize Jury 1. "John Fogerty"
2. "Mark Knopfler" 3. "David Coverdale" 4. "Joan Baez"
Suggestion: "Tina Turner - I heard it trough the Grapevine" (Live)👍
Thanks Sarah! For a great Creedence Clearwater Revival reaction video.🙂

Love this one so much. Takes me back to mom putting on her records growing up. I agree with others that you should hear the extended version. The jam session on that is amazing!
