For me, I had a regular checkup with blood work done. My liver values were over 1, 000. An ultrasound was done & a large mass was found in my KIDNEY. My kidney was removed & the doctor assumed I'd be fine. Two weeks after that I kept getting sudden fever, chills & extreme fatigue every two weeks. My doctor had no idea what was going on, but sent me to a GI dr. due to my high liver values previously. After a CT scan & MRI, my GI dr. couldn't figure it out. The 2nd GI right away knew what I had.
