Until today, I would never have given Nikon a thought, but holy hell those video abilities are insane for the price

I'm very impressed with how Nikon has evolved over the years. They are REALLY delivering quality improvements with each new camera body. Only thing I can see missing from the Z6iii is no full sensor open gate mode for anamorphic 1.5x and 1.6x lenses. I hope they'll add this in a future firmware update.

Man, it was very hard keeping quiet about this camera for so long. Glad it’s out and everyone can appreciate how good it is!

You've done something in this video I've not seen ANYONE else do anywhere... and that's use a feature of the product you're reviewing as part of your sponsor "commercial"--in this case the line audio capability of the camera. That's brilliant, and you should market to your sponsors this unique and creative approach. Typically I skip past the sponsorship schpeal and get back to the video, but because you were in demonstration mode of the audio, I was compelled to listen to you talk about the sponsor...just brilliant!

Looks like a darn good upgrade for someone with the original Z6. Comparing the specs from the Z6 to the Z6iii...the Z6iii is a HUGE upgrade, especially in terms of video performance and autofocus. Great video Gerald!

sub 10ms 6k internal RAW for less than £3k?! Did not see that coming. Nikon is clearly very serious about establishing themselves in this market, and we've not even seen how the RED aquisition is going to affect things yet.

The portions of your reviews measuring dynamic range have become by far the most trusted source of that information to me. Your repeatable, scientific approach is unmatched. I’m almost exclusively a stills photographer, but I watch your reviews anyway because I value your to that topic of performance approach so highly.

We need more 4k60 FF cameras without annoying crop or overheating. I love my Lumix S5 a lot (it became very affordable, btw!) and use it for all of my DJ videos in tricky light situations, but yeah, it can only do 4k30 unlimited...

Nikon is finally setting the bar high. Great future for us photographers and filmmakers with all the new technology coming out.

This camera is WILDLY good for its price. I've been looking for a B cam/stream cam and I think I might be going for a Nikon

Also thanks for using my intro bumper :D

I had the first Nikon Z6 and I loved it for the image quality, colors, convenience of use and a few more things. I switched to Sony A7S3 for video purposes, but I still miss the Nikon ☺

Initially I felt I was taking a risk going with Nikon (Z6) a few year back, but after a year with the Z8 and soon the Z6III as my B-can I couldn't be my confident with having taken the Nikon route. So great to see them out on top again. Great content as always Gerald

Good job Nikon I love my z8 even above my a7rv
I use a lot of Sonys for video production but really wanted something that could keep up with the z8 for my video use and now I have something. Just might fully dive back into Nikon and buy a couple of these to compliment my z8

I'm coming from the Sony camp and I want Nikon to light the world on fire!!! I love competition so when people ask me what brand to use I tell them to rent a body to kick the tires to see what brand will YOU feel comfortable with. I remind them that you're really investing in the glass so choose carefully and I then tell them to get out there and make it happen by producing great images and/or videos!!! My photography circle of friends use Nikon, Canon, Sony, Panasonic and Fuji and all they're all able to produce great work from their tools. Kudos to Nikon and I hope that camera will turn the photography world upside down as did the Canon 5D Mark II when it hit the market or when Sony brought the game changing eye focus and who can forget the Nikon 850 or the Canon 1DX!!! Just my two cents.

Hey Gerald! I love how thorough and insightful your videos are, especially with all the graphs and tests you include. It would be amazing if you could make a video explaining the tests, charts, and theories you use in your reviews and what does it relates in the real world itself. This would be super helpful for new users like myself who want to understand the concepts better. Thanks for all your great content!
