Minor corrections: the Z6 III does 1 second pre-capture up to 120fps in jpg only with the same caveats as C120 (dx/11mp), but can also capture full res jpgs up to 60fps pre-capture with C60. Also, the a7 IV does have a variable shutter, although it's basically unusable with it's electronic shutter.

For the checkmarks tally

Nikon Z6 III: 7.75
Canon R6 Mark II: 2.5
Sony a7 IV: -8732.5

A little low for the Sony but the Z6 III being about 3 times as good as the R6 Mark II seems right.

Spoiler Alert: The Nikon loses. (It's Jared after all)

Spoiler Alert: I'm still getting it.

I like the Nikon system for an enthusiast. Their 24-120 f4 and the s line of small f1.8 primes, are pretty hard to beat. Their high end stuff is top of the line also. Canon either has dinky cheap stuff or pro grade gear. Nothing in the middle with great optics.

Five years ago I was watching these comparisons and I bought my first camera and have not regret it and now here I am once again thanks Jared

I don’t get the bit about how a new Canon will threaten the Z6 III. We’ve reached a point of maturity with all three systems that there’s not really a big jump to be made until there’s some huge technological breakthrough. Especially given what most people use this range of cameras for.

Nikon Z mount has the largest diameter so you can adapt lenses from multiple other mounts, plus there other third party sellers from China. And then there’s the F mount Nikkor lenses.
I think the Nikon cameras are pretty interesting, there’s a lot of potential.

So far I am loving my Z6III that replaced my Z6II.

I have recently bought a r6 mark ii as an upgrade from the Rebel t7. And your videos were a great help in make it the right choice of camera❤

Very good review, minor correction at 9:56

The Z6III does do pre release capture at 120fps

Canon should always take a HUGE hit because of it's mount 3rd party prohibition. The consumer is GREATLY disadvantage from the start. It's no small thing.

I want the z6III, I have a z6 and a z9. I love my z9 and I would love to upgrade my z6 for the z6III, seems like it would be the perfect second body for me.

I've bought R6MII two years ago in the very first day after release to replace my good-old 6D. Solid upgrade, very nice camera that fits all my EF glass without any problem (I'm also shooting film with EOS3 and don't buy RF glass). If you already have some Canon or Nikon - just buy a new body and stay with the system... they offers almost the same for almost the same money.

I have a nikon Z5 and D7200, I'll get for sure the Z6III I need the raw video 10bits. I'd really love to have that video quality.

The Sony A7IV does have 2 UHS-II SD card slots and allows for simultaneous recording to both cards at the same time.

Been shooting Nikon for a long time, love their files, I still have a D850 and quite a bit of F mount glass, I also use a Z 7ll and for my work the autofocus is fine. I bought the Z 6lll on its release and I can safely say although less resolution than I normally been using last few years I am in no way disappointed with the Z 6lll. Autofocus is great and image quality is fantastic as I have always expected from Nikon

I always learn something from the fro videos. I have the R6ii coming up on a year now. Have had mixed results, probably because I do not have it set up optimally. Mostly I am using the 100-500 RF zoom lens. I seem to have the most problem with anything in flight, even aircraft, getting the combination to lock in on sharp focus. I miss too many shots. I need a training class on this camera specifically. I came out of a 7Dii w/ 100-400 Canon zoom.

Thank you for the segment on using the viewfinder! So many crooked photos from people using the flip out screens.

I got the Z6iii. Mostly because I already had Nikon lenses and flashes, but R6ii was tempting because of the price.
