I don't think a lot of people know this and neither did you because I checked in audacity, but the chant in the beginning is actually a small part from the second intro "Naraku no Hana" played backwards. The subliminal message says 'Nigeranai' which means 'you can't escape'. Yay spooks!

Higurashi has some of the best songs. Higurashi no naku koro ni, Why or Why Not, Naraku no Hana, Taishou A, Superscription of Data, and Manazashi. Also, who could forget Dear You and all the versions of You? Other than Lilium, Dear You is uncontested as my favourite song ever.

If anyone here hasn't seen this, and you like horror, you should watch this. it *looks* all bright, happy and cute in the beginning. Trust me, it's not. Also, don't watch the dub. As a dub fan, i'll tell you that it is absolutely horrible.
