Gaming in a Windows VM on Linux! Show and Tell on my KVM/VFIO Setup

I was very excited when I found out this was possible but I had a hard time picturing what it would look like. The possibilities for video output and mouse input were particularly confusing. I'm hoping this video will help some of you build the workstation you're most happy to use.

I love talking about this so I'm hoping to get some comments.

This is actually a great idea no more dual booting and you have the functionality of all OS'es when run in a vm.

I smiled from ear to ear when you mentioned Fedora. I just got Virt-Manager/QEMU/KVM set up in my new Fedora 36 install. 10 seconds into my first VM with this setup and I deleted Virtualbox and VMWare.

Great vid man, just got my VFIO setup recently and I love it! Giving up Linux isn't worth it for a few extra programs and games, but it's nice that we don't have to with VFIO

Networking and especially bridging ethernet in linux is very complicated but in windows hyperv it works liike butter

You should consider using barrier kvm to use a single mouse and keyboard and also scream for your audio, they both work on local network and its amazing.
