In an exclusive conversation with CNBC-TV18, Union Finance Minister Nirmala Sitharaman said, "Disinvestment and asset monetisation is still a part of the budget. It may not be a part of my speech. We have to see when is the best time to monetise assets.

Worst performing is judiciary system. Banks have made hefty profits and given humongous dividends to government. Why not privatise judiciary? Why not FCI? FCI employees literally sit all day in office. Why not privatise railway? Why not salary cuts in MPs, MLAs?
