Privatisation worked absolutely, given the aim is to make a small group of people phenomenally rich while destroying the whole concern. And the best thing for the bosses and shareholders is that, once again, it's all perfectly legal! No laws for those who make the law, just call it 'deregulation'.

England isnt the only country that is learning the hard way that critical infrastructure like water should never be privatized. There is no incentive to maintain the infrastructure itself.

No utility, critical infrastructure should be privately owned. Allowing a select group to make money at the expense of the people of the country.
Nationalise all of them.

Perhaps claw back the disgusting dividends paid out to foreign investors first. Pay off the £52 billion joint debt and re-nationalise the whole industry. OFWAT need to take some responsibility for this fiasco and grow a pair.

We need drastic change immediately because the suffering of the vast majority of society in the UK is increasing exponentially. We need to stop this for our children's sake.

Reminds me of Capel Celyn, were the Welsh as a whole voted against turning the whole town into a reservoir for Liverpool but British Parliament ignored them (then it turned out Liverpool wasn't even struggling for water like they claimed).
