Your Amazon agreement comments at 12:20 are invaluable. I feel that Amazon is letting Sonos bear the R&D costs for sound products at a very small price of allowing integration and lead time. If the product appears to be profitable at scale, Amazon will create its own product, bring it on with Sonos as a competitive seller, Amazon still making its product for sales and if successful eliminate the Sonos agreement all together later. Amazon is the best example of being a chimera of electronics and will absorb Sonos in a heartbeat. IPO was the exit strategy for KKR who probably hold the investment into Sonos as a note and if business turns to BK, will still insist on repayment before giving up any interest. I'm a huge fan of Sonos.. This case study gave me a better prospective and understanding of the business side.. My sister has Sonos hooked up in her home and the sound and quality is amazing..But my wife is a BOSE fan. Specking of BOSE . will there be a case study on BOSE..??

Great video! I think the problem with Sonos is that they might be squeezed by the competition between higher quality products and cheeper products. There lineups is right in the middle of both. Will see how it will evolve but it feels like a lot of threats.

An interesting subjet for a case studies might be the former swiss airline company Swissair. They were a massive company buying other companies and controlling the complete chain until crashing the company due to bad investments.

Love your videos!!!! thanks. Can you please do a case study on VIRGIN.
Their strategy is unique and confusing because they enter and disrupt huge industries, then "Sell" out at the end but then let the new buyer use their brand name.
