Always rewind your blades before returning them back to rental.

Old people: "These cost over thirty seven cents! You think I'm just made of money?!"

Also old people: "Into the wall it goes"

I’m amazed at how many gadgets you have for sharpening pencils and blades, some of the pencil ones I’d love to own!!

That vintage gillette razor is awesome. A sharp learning curve excuse the pun, but a bit of practice and it gives the closest shave with zero razor burn. Blades are penny's compared to disposable tat.

I remember being a little standing at the sink in the morning with my dad and him shaving with an identical razor. Brings back a lot of memories.

Still use one of these. Haven't bought blades in 25+ years since I found it at an antique store

People need to join the safety razor gang. Far cheaper and a better shave. I reuse my blades until they get too dull and start tugging.

Back when it didn’t take 5 dull blades to give a shave.

This is the funnest gadget I've seen since the handcranked toenail clipper.

I'm 37 and use a safety razor. Practically free to shave verses Gillette etc. My dad told me that back in the day he used to run his blades round the inside of a cup to put a new edge on them. Yes, he really is that tight. Pmsl

The British army issued the Rolls razor which used one non replaceable thick single edged blade with a mechanical strop action in its storage tin.
Close as you could get to a cut throat shave.
Bloody great razors.

I get why you would what to do this but, the blades have a friction reducing coating on them. Either a polymer or a ceramic coating that helps the blade not get snagged on hair. This might make a used blade cut better but it won’t be like new.
