I found out it also helps to get a good quality razor, with cheap ones it can be harder to get the right angle because of the shape and angle of the guard behind the blade

Also a tip is some safty razors are shaped in such a way that it might be harder to tell where the blade is

Usually I have a beard but when I do shave, it’s with one of these or a straight razor. I’ve learned they save you a lot of money vs cartridge ones

I use cut-throat razor its way better for angles, easy. For some reason I have problem getting proper angle in safety razor.

Update: For my birthday I was gifted a Muhle R89 safety razor, Muhle Spice and Wood shaving cream together with Muhle shaving brush, as well as alum block. Shaving never felt better even though I have so much respect to this kind of razor, but I am so excited every single time it's time to shave, haha.

I was only going with the grain on my face because I had a cheap safety razor but I just upgraded to a nice one and decided to do the three passes and I just shredded my face I don’t know what I’m doing wrong 😢
