As with any AI product that grabs data you provide, I assume the model sends that data to some server online. If you happen to be copying data on the screen with things like your financial information or passwords (because I knew a lot of people would think to do something with that too), this information could be sent to and possible saved on a remote server. I would need to look at their software to find more, just a general word of caution.

This function already exists in Excel > Data > From Picture > Picture from Clipboard and since I've already given Microsoft authorization to access my data, I don't transmit data through a 3rd party server (where it's definitely being stored and used to train the model)

Didn't really work. I first tried copying a table of transactions (date, merchant, amount) from a Chase bank statement in PDF. Tried to copy to a simple test Excel worksheet with those same column names. Said it couldn't complete the task and had a big red "Retry" button. Tried multiple times, didn't work. Then I tried copying a short table in an Outlook email (date, instructor, time). It only pasted a date, instructor from higher up in the email text. Couldn't get Clipboard AI to "see" the table in the email. So far, 0 for 2. So I uninstalled it.

This is a definite no-no for me, but thanks for sharing it anyway, Kevin.
Right from the start, as soon as you said it asked for your email, I thought uh-oh.
However, my main concern would be the type of private information being "transferred", and the safety of it.
I think I'll just stick with copy/paste for now, although we all know that there's nothing safe or private online anymore.
