The opening music in this is so good.
The composer is Roberto Baccherini and the vocalist is La Jeanne (Jane Breduillard).

I imagine there's still a ton of stuff under all that sand that hasn't been discovered yet.

I've been fascinated by the Ancient Egyptians since I was in primary school. I remember doing a presentation on the history of Ancient Egypt for my History class in high school and topped my class. I'm 30 yrs old now and I still find myself fascinated by the culture. Would definitely love to visit the country and see the pyramids before I die. ❤️😊

This was amazing, i was looking for some documentaries more specific about ancient egypt besides its history. The music specially the ending theme with the analogy of actual egypt is fascinating

A very lavish presentation, despite a few technical (voice over) and linguistic (interpretation) errors. (And, that this is the same video I believe I saw a year ago under a different title?). Thank you.

what an insightful, well written and directed doc! extremely well shot, the montages are very good in illustrating what the scholars are saying, congratulations to the team which produced this documentary👏 i have seen many others on ancient Egyptian art but this one was really the first one to actually make me have an even more complex and whole new and understanding about how Egyptians perceived and created images and texts

Too bad the voice over conflicts with the original speakers. Music transitions are jarring. Balance between talking heads could be improved.
These take me out of the documentary experience.
