Can I please ask a question?
Do you do a chain at the end of row 4 (and all subsequent even numbered rows)?
I’ve tried without a chain but struggle to slip stitch into the last stitch, unless I do a chain.

What happens if I sc instead of st I’m losing my back loop with my st maybe my tension is too tight but I tried to loosen it still can’t really find back loop

i made the 47 rows for newborn and i used weight 4 yarn, but for some reason it’s not coming up to 12.5”. Should i leave it as is and just soften it afterwards or make it until 12.5”?
