In this Crochetvibe crochet tutorial I´ll show You how to crochet a bernat baby blanket. This easy bernat blanket yarn crochet patterns is for beginners as well and this crochet pattern is perfect for a beginners blanket in Bernat Yarn. If you have never tried working with bernat blanket yarn this is a good place to start as Bernat velvet yarn is one of the most soft yarn to work with.

If your a beginner I can’t express enough the importance of keeping your beginning chains loose. I had to frog 3 skeins of Bernat yarn and start over because it was curling so bad. Now that I’ve watched videos and learned that keeping my beginning chains loose I’ve made 2 beautiful throws that are straight and have straight edges. Trial and error just don’t give up! I’m 58 and it’s always been a dream of mine to learn to crochet.
