Could have sworn it was the reverse.

Bro am I the only one confused by this? 💀 If the UN is not in a position to fill the shoes of the United States when they leave. Then on what planet are they in a position to fight the US? 😭

NATO CAN survive alone, but it cannot survive a two front war against the US and Russia. Europe is strong, but not that strong.

We gotta suffer for the fragile egos of a handful of insecure egoists in high places, apparently~ (once again)

I feel bad about all of this. Can’t believe US is doing what it’s doing. Losing Europe will be detrimentally disastrous for US. And it’s only March, can’t imagine what will happen in a years time

A lot of people seem to be taking this as an attack on their political beliefs rather that looking at the broader picture of what the video is saying about where the world is and where it's headed.

Another aspect is the US is losing the status of the world's reserve financial currency. It soon won't be able to enjoy the privilege of being able to just keep printing money and not have other countries devalue it relative to their own. If the US populous thought 8% inflation was intolerable, wait for the hyper-inflation era they're creating for themselves.

Could not be more proud to be with Europe, Canada the UK and Australia. We are a huge, down to earth, civil family with thousands of years of valuable history and experience.

The US, comes across as a very desperate and lonely country with a superior complex.

You have to laugh at the delusion of some trumpet and MAGA fans. Europe alone has been involved in brutal close combat conflicts for thousands of years and pulled through.

The US was kicked out of Vietnam after trying to spread “freedom”, followed by Afghanistan. The last war they won on their own was 1700’s, and even that was fought by a mix of Spanish, Dutch, English and French lol.

Of course we like to let them think they won ww2 single handedly, but we and they know deep down it was on a huge part thanks to the Soviets, many, many European counties, even Africa and the Ghurkhas. The US had to steal a German scientist to even construct a nuke. By then the UK had already prevented the Germans from invading in the Battle of Britain, and had ruined them in the Dresden bombings.

But as we know, there are lots of sane US citizens who know this, we just have to treat the rest how we treat trump. Like a child with a pout who likes his own way.

Long live the free nations, and let’s hope America wakes up soon. 🇨🇦🇦🇺🇬🇧🇪🇺🇺🇸

If the U.S. were to withdraw support from NATO, it would undoubtedly weaken the alliance, but it would not necessarily mean its collapse. Here’s why:

Can NATO Survive Without the U.S.?

Strengths That Could Keep NATO Alive

Europe’s Military Capabilities – While the U.S. is NATO’s backbone, European nations have strong individual militaries:

The UK, France, and Germany have modern armies and significant defense budgets.

France has nuclear weapons, providing a European deterrent.

The EU is increasing defense spending, with Germany pledging €100 billion to modernize its military.

Increased European Cooperation – A U.S. withdrawal would force Europe to:

Boost collective defense spending to compensate.

Strengthen the European Union’s defense policy as an alternative to NATO reliance.

Seek new partnerships (potentially with Canada, Japan, or Australia).

Strong NATO Commitments Remain –

The U.S. leaving NATO wouldn't mean an immediate collapse; Article 5 (collective defense) could still be honored by remaining members.

The UK, France, Poland, and the Baltic States are committed to resisting Russian aggression.

Challenges That Could Weaken NATO

Loss of U.S. Military Power

The U.S. contributes 70% of NATO's total defense spending and provides essential logistics, nuclear deterrence, and intelligence.

Europe would need years to close the gap in areas like air defense, long-range strike capability, and nuclear deterrence.

Russia’s Aggression Could Increase

Without U.S. backing, Russia might test NATO’s resolve, putting countries like Poland and the Baltic states at greater risk.

Divisions Within Europe

Some countries (like Hungary or Turkey) might align more with Russia or China.

Others may hesitate to increase defense spending, weakening NATO’s ability to act.

How Will Europe Respond?

If the U.S. withdraws, Europe has a few possible responses:

Create a Stronger European Defense Union

The EU could accelerate plans for an independent European army, relying on France’s nuclear arsenal and Germany’s industrial power.

Countries like Poland and the Baltic states might push for a more aggressive European deterrent against Russia.

Strengthen Ties With Other Allies

Europe could deepen defense cooperation with Canada, Japan, Australia, and South Korea to counterbalance Russia and China.

Negotiate a New Deal With the U.S.

Even if the U.S. leaves NATO, Europe may try to maintain a bilateral security partnership with Washington.

Is This the Beginning of the End for NATO?

Not necessarily. NATO is not just about the U.S.—it’s an alliance of 31 countries, and many members are willing to adapt. A U.S. exit would be a crisis, but not an automatic collapse. However, NATO would need major structural and financial changes to survive in the long term.
If Europe unites and increases military spending, NATO could survive as a more European-led alliance. If not, we could see the emergence of a weaker NATO or a new European defense system.

NATO will survive without the USA. But once the USA leaves, all those US basis in other NATO countries will no longer be US bases. NATO countries will have to do a crash program to produce parts for US made equipment while also ramping up production of its own equipment. Yes it will be a lot of hard work but it was done before.
