In the diagnosis of Rheumatoid Arthritis X-Ray is very popular and cost effective, but unfortunately in the daily medicine there is not enough time to evaluate the images professionally with an internationally accepted scoring method, so the description of the images usually remains at a very high level which leads less perfect diagnosis. Our mission is to bring the Sharp van der Heijde scoring method in the daily medical practice, we developed a software for this, so I hope this situation will change soon :-)

Ashamed? Seriously? I know having arthritis is horrible, it changes your life. However simply because Medicine hasn't progressed at the rate that you want it to doesn't mean that the researchers should be ashamed. I would LOVE to understand why I have arthritis but a complex disease, like arthritis, will take time and research to understand.

I mean, the Khan academy has shown no other medical info as nearly as I can tell, but only information as to mathematics, things mathematically related, or education as related to mathematics? I ask, in part because I have an artificial joint. I understand this subject well. But, in this arena it seems totally non-sequitar.

My grandmother had both these diseases together. She was in a walking frame (the one you pick up and shuffle along with you) for 14 years before she finally passed away in 1991. So thankful you could help me understand it

I'm not sure what you mean. If you look back far enough, Khan Academy has done -plenty- of biology, and other science videos, like organic chemistry, physics, astronomy and history. Only lately has Sal been on a bit of a maths roll.
