Nice video... BUT MY book says IgG (The autoantibodies, known as rheumatoid factor (RF), combine with IgG combine with IgG to for immune complexes that initially deposit on synovial membranes or superficial articular cartilage in the joints.) not IgM-

In the previous video OA vs RA Symptoms, you state that in RA only the PIP is affected and in OA only the DIP is affected. In this video you state that both the DIP and PIP are affected in OA (Bouchard's and Herbeden's nodes)

Can someone please help me - why is rheumatoid arthritis specific to synovial joints? Why does the inflammation and associate tissue damage occur here, if the rheumatoid factor is circulating systemically? Thanks in advance!
