As an iPhone 14 user, I will say it’s basically a repriced iPhone 13 Pro minus the telephoto lens and the ProMotion. However, it’s still valid as a “budget-premium” iPhone since it’s using a power efficient A15 Bionic processor and has a fair 6GB of ram which comes in handy when multitasking and for gaming. Wasn’t necessarily Apple’s brightest idea yet tho.

I own the 13 mini, I love it. It's been a fantastic phone for both watching YouTube or any content really, plus it's small size makes it easy to handle and carry day to day and doesnt hurt the hand if holding it to record things for a long period of time, like a concert. Just after 3 years of owning it, the only thing I can complain about is the battery life. The battery life was perfectly fine the first 2 years of owning it, but after 3 years it's battery health has degraded to 79% currently, which makes it a struggle to get through the day on a charge. I have to charge it multiple times a day now. I love my 13 Mini, but I will be upgrading to the iPhone 16 Pro this September once it's released for the better battery life and the extra zoom capabilities.

u're so wrong, everybody loved the 13 mini including me, and also the fact that it has a much more benchmark score result than the pixel 9 PRO XL ! is just a very unusual thing of a mini phone.

for the first one being the 13 mini; the keyboard was designed to be typed on with one hand, like the original iphones, content is fine to watch on the mini, and even my battery life lasts well over one day with my usage, i just think people are trying to power-use a phone made to be light

That case opening up a case for the iPhone 13 Mini is so funny, that reminds me of how I was in 6th grade and in December 2006 how I found out I got my first phone (an LG VX5400 flip phone from Verizon) was that I had to open up a bunch of boxes until I found the phone box itself with the phone in it.

iPhone 5C was my first iPhone ever, I even bought it used. Having no TouchID was a bit annoying, but that's it. I still have it. And I have never had more pleasant device in hands, plastic used there is just so pleasant to touch.
Then I have bought iPhone 8 Plus, because I did not like in X: the notch, new OLED screen, higher price, screen aspect ratio. I know that very often in drastic updates Apple creates some problems, so I don't buy their first iteration of new products.
I still use 8 Plus as my main device and only problem I have: no more iOS updates. Battery can be still replaced by Apple, so it's not even a problem. As a result, I can't use absolutely perfect phone because of software-based planned obsolescence.

I used the 8+ until last winter (2023) I bought it on release and got a 15 pro max. It lid still usable, and had a better performance then the 10.

Started w iPhone 6plus then went to iPhone 11! Happy with both of them! Still using the iPhone 11 & am very Satisfied!

I think the 13 mini got even more love & positive feedbacks from people than the 14 Plus did.
I really think Apple needs to simplify their iPhone line-up. They should just make them 4 iPhones again. Regular, Pro, Max (yes, just 'Max. iPhone Max'), and the SE. That's it. period.

Same goes for their iPads. iPad mini, Air, & Pro. That's it. The budget iPad now blurs the line between Air and mini and it is very confusing now. Not to mention that its existence is super weird. I think they have to get rid of their "budget iPad" off their iPad line-up from now on.

When Steve Jobs was alive, Apple was "Quality over quantity.", innovation-wise. Now that he's not around anymore, it's the opposite. 💔

I think the biggest problem with the iPhone 12 mini is the short battery life per charge, which was way less of problem with the iPhone 13 mini. Pity Apple didn't improve the iPhone 13 mini design with a thicker phone to accommodate a bigger battery and the A18 chip for the iPhone SE 4.

I cannot disagree more.
- iPhone 13 mini had the same battery life as 'standard' iPhone 12 on much smaller package, brighter screen etc., and wasn't such a battery disaster as 12 mini;
- iPhone 12 had no worse battery life than 11, and definitely 12 Pro has a brighter display, so there are not the same screens;
- Apple knows, that everybody will love X, but released 8 and 8 Plus to set a lower price start point than $999, also 8 Plus had a better battery life than X and was a peak iPhone for people who needs bigger screen until release of Xs Max;
- the problem with 5c was only in its price - while having a beautiful, plastic, colorful design it was just too expensive, it should be placed in around $499 on launch without keeping 4s in line, which was really struggling with iOS 8 and 9, last iPhone which run so bad on its last iOS was 3GS, even 4 was greatly improved in 7.1.x, after 7.0.x disastrous performance; also launching 8GB version later was a terrible move for customers;
- In my opinion the worst iPhone was 6 because of ridiculous 1GB of RAM; the situation was even worse with 6 Plus, but at least it introduces bigger screen with a different approach to UI (horizontal view of apps) and better battery life, while the regular 6 introduces nothing, so that's I consider it better than regular 6, even with its bending issues.

Nothing wrong with the iPhone 13 mini, I get 1 -2 days of use from a full charge.

iPhone 7 still usable this year. Great camera, quality photos at least.
