I don’t know why I’m watching this at almost 2am I don’t even own a 5c anymore I have an 8+ but when I did have the phone I never used the case because I felt it’s an easier access for dust to accumulate within the phone.

I think my old blue 5C in its white case was attractive...
They weren’t the most durable little things though, there was a lot of visible wear on my 5C case. The case was weird on purpose, it’s design is to show the color of the 5C, one of the main reasons people bought them. Plus, from a distance you can’t see the text.

It really wasn't that bad though… It's made of good quality silicone, has solid build quality, and protected my phone from a few drops. The durability was fine.
It does collect oil and dust more than later Apple cases (the silicone is different), and having dust collect in the holes is annoying. There were *much* worse cases.

I don't think the iPhone 5C is the worst case. In fact I like much that case, I consider it is unique on it's design, my 5C has one of them in blue lol

Myself and my wife loved the iPhone 5C and the case and colour combinations you could get! Agree they should have designed it around the iPhone name on the back but it was a great case that saved my wife’s iPhone numerous times!

From day one of owning my yellow 5C in May 2015, I used Apple’s black silicone case. It was my favorite color contrast, and it didn’t get as dirty as I initially expected.
I bought two more of the same case because of peeling, but I really enjoyed it.

But of course, once I got an SE in November 2017 I immediately got Apple’s leather case for it. Even after the SE’s time passes (likely late 2021) and I look to phones like the 14th-generation iPhones, I am spoiled from their leather case and am never going back to silicone again.
