What would've happened had Darth Vader created himself the Perfect Suit? Would Vader go on an angry strike of tearing apart Jedi and eventually his master? Or would the new suit be a ploy by Sidious to make Vader more subservient?

Despite Palpatine's intention to punish Darth Vader for his failure, he also feared Vader's power. This fear was manifested in the terrible suit that he was given, which not only served as a physical punishment but also as a way to limit Vader's abilities. However, even in his crippled state, Vader grew in power, which surprised and scared Palpatine. This fear was not unfounded, for Vader's power surpassed even Sidious' expectations.

I love this story. It does break canon in far more than a fan fiction way, it's Palpatine. Palpatine could have given Vader THIS suit from the get-go, had the resources and probably advice from advisors to do so. Vader's suit/cyber-systems is, no matter how great it is, is sub-par to the Star Wars universe tech. I mean, even Luke was given a better-than-Vader bionic hand as a basic medical treatment. Palpatine obviously gave Vader a sub-par suit/cybernetic body, so he can keep Vader as sub-par to his power as a force user. Let's go back to the upgrading after getting the bad original issue... once Vader started even looking to upgrade his suit/body, Palpatine would cut him down. I mean, the Empire even had cloning technology that would let him sit in a vat and let his body use cloning fluids to completely restore itself to allow him to return to being a perfect force user... and not even giving him his original meat suit was done. Palpatine wanted him sub-par.
