How have the Vespers been treating you since? I am looking to get a new wheelset in the near future. The two hubs I have been looking at are the i9 Hydra hubs and the Onyx Vesper hubs matched up with either an alloy DT Swiss EX 511 or a carbon We Are One Union rim. I had heard more than a few people report issues with the Onyx Vesper having some slippage issues. I like the concept of a silent hub, but the issue that people have been reporting has me thinking twice. The i9 Hydra hubs can be quieted down by using grease instead of just oil. Both are expensive high end high engagement hubs. I just don't want to have issues.

Stuff some zip ties in you bottom bracket, saved my ride when my free hub did the same thing, i was able to zip tie my derailur out of the way
