Interesting. Thanks for sharing. My dealer accidently sent me the classic instead of the vesper. Maybe I'll just keep the classic.

Thanks for sharing. I’m deciding on a new hub for my SS mountain bike. I contacted ONYX and they will build a Vesper 142x12 (non-boost) with a SSHG short free hub. I have always heard great things about the ONYX Classic hubs but thought the Vesper would be nice for the weight savings and nicer look.
Did you get this issue resolved?

Yea, mine do the same.... definitely not a fan of the flex. By design, unintended, or just broken...?
