Matt Smith will always end my favorite doctor because even tho he knew he was going to die no regenerations left he always had a smile a laugh and a cool bow tie but when the time lords did grant him more regenerations he handled it with dignity he when he called Clara from Trensalor he knew she might not continue with the new doctor and he told her don’t be afraid

i grew up in a very unstable home and always turned to doctor who for comfort, especially 11. i’ve struggled with my mental health for years and there’s been many times when i almost lost the battle, but dr who was always there for me; gave me a new perspective of life when i didn’t have the energy to be here anymore and i am forever thankful for 11, he saved my life.

Matt Smith will always be my favorite because he was the childish one even tho he knew he wouldn’t regenerate he still went on strutting to his tardis in his bow tie. when he first met Amy or Amelia he helped her with the crack on her wall when he returned all those years later ( on accident ) he still helped cause he promised her and he did help her and when she and Rory tagged along they became a family when Amy and Rory left he was depressed cause they were a family when Clara came along it helped him get over it and Matt’s finale episode he knew he had to save Clara cause she was his new family and Clara saved the doctor by getting the time lords to grant him more regenerations and when he first met river he knew what was gonna happen to her but he didn’t say because he knew how much she was gonna mean to him so he just didn’t tell her because he didn’t want to hurt her but when Matt last seen river in trensalor we see how far he’s come because we didn’t say because he was being kind to him dying and seeing her and that’s why he’s my favorite he kept his word he made his friends to his family he met his future wife and he grew to love her and he tried to protect them all because he was a good man and a hell of a doctor we miss you raggedy man

And I cry. Tennant has a special place in my heart, and Eccleston was my first, but boy this man, this life of the Doctor is among the greats. I love them all for different reasons, but Matt Smith had some of those episodes and lines that left me weeping
