We are the Shanks family. With 8 kids, we are constantly learning of ways to better care for our Kids. This Elephant Ear Wash sprayer is very useful to clean out any ear issues like Bacteria or excessive ear wax.

I think the round shield is to prevent you from poking too far inside and hurt the ear drum not so as not to protect you from splashing water on your fingers

This is a really good and informative video. You did it well.
One little suggestion and apologies if this has already been brought up: Clean the tip between each ear. If there is an infection or bacteria in one ear, you might take it over to the other ear through an infected tip.

Very helpful! Exactly what was used on me at the doctor's office but I couldn't read the bottle fast enough because of dizziness which is normal when there is a lot of ear wax removed. THANK YOU!!

A boy in my class was having some real problems understanding the English work and his phonics was terrible. I remember thinking OMG....he could be dyslexic.. I though it was a hearing problem because I clicked my fingers really close to the child's left ear from behind and he did not hear anything, the right ear was a little better but the reaction time was slow. Usually before any diagnoses of SEN is done we ask the parents to get their child's eyes tested and their hearing assessed. It turned out that this boy have a huge build up of wax in both ears but the left ear was completely blocked. The change in this child academically was amazing and all because he had his ears cleaned out of excess wax.

Went to urgent care yesterday with a totally clogged ear. I tried ear syringe, peroxide, baby oil. Nothing worked. Doctors used this same system to blast all the crap out, and man oh man!! It works, I tell you!!

Actually, it needs to only be warm or tepid. Too hot will definitely cause dizziness as I have found when done by a doctor who didn’t know what they were doing.

I’m 33, AND I AM A WUSS-SEEE!!! I have to get my left ear flushed today. And watching this young man getting his ear flushed is amazing. Still kinda scared. Never had it done EVER.

The ear does need wax in it for natural protection. Some say for swimmers ear, vinegar is less destructive than peroxide to natural wax. A natural solution is best. Garlic and mullein oil ear drops lets the body reabsorb the oil softened clog. Lymph glands remove toxins. Like: use warm with cotton ball plug. Massage. Removal of wax could contribute to recurring problems. Dental related?.

I've never heard of adding alcohol in there with hydrogen peroxide.
