To clean ears, my doctors recommend using hydrogen peroxide (a bottle cap full), in the ears; first, every week for a month or so while showering; to loosen and wash away ear wax effectively. Then follow-up once monthly to maintain clean ears. But everyone is different, some people may need more or less often.

That's insane. I been cleaning my ears out with bobby pins on a regular basis for about 30 years. I think the longest I ever went without cleaning them (with anything but Q-tips) was a month or so. How could she stand it literally having earwax ooze outta her ear?! I would go crazy...

I have always been told by doctors and medics never to put anything in the ears, sorry but once week I use soft soap and warm water and cotton buds and get any wax or dirt from the air out. NEVER ever would I get this much wax and muck, just cannot comprehend anyone letting their ears get this clogged.

How could you not know your ear was packed with wax. My mom use to put peroxides and warm water in a Turkey Baster and squirted into our ear and then put a cotton ball in. By morning when she took the cotton ball out there was the wax. Old ways may seem crazy but they worked
