Weekly Workout Training Volume Recommendations -
* Beginners (under 6 months): A range of 10-12 sets per muscle group
* Intermediate (6 months - 2 years): A range of 12-16 sets per muscle group
* Advanced (2+ years): A range of 16-20 sets per muscle group
* What I Usually Personally Do, Prefer & Continue Seeing Progress From After 10+ Years: A range of 20-30 sets per muscle group

These are all very solid base frequency recommendations to reference for your weekly training volume per muscle group based on your experience level. Just keep in mind everyone is different and requires personalization for their overall long-term fitness success!

I will always stand by the necessity of personalization. If what you’re currently doing isn’t helping you make progress on your fitness journey, that doesn’t even necessarily mean you are doing something wrong. What you’re doing now may just not be a good method for you which if that is the case, I can with full confidence assure you that there is a better way for YOU.

The workout frequency distribution per week will all depend on your programming layout, specific focus points and personal preferences. You need to account for your workout days actual time availability for working out plus the inclusion of your needed recovery time and actual rest days too. Also, your reps per set will highly rely on your actual goals that you’re trying to achieve from all your training efforts.

How should be consider the 5 minutes intense cycles? Certainly they are not "sets" but work wonders in pump and the volume is HUUUGE. 🎉

Why think in sets per muscle group.and not time under tension at certain % of 1RM? There are a lot of variables, 50 sets of 5 reps at 10% RM would not do the same as 20s X 10 isometrics... at 60% 1RM. 😅 Also doing big moves like DL cannot be compared with moves like isolated biceps curls...
