Teachers, If its a punishment or not, you do not have consent to abuse the poor student. Parents can actually sue the school/daycare for that and teachers dont have to respond for the children, they legally or illegally can interrupt or respond for the child. No matter if they "handled" the situation, STILL its bad to not tell the parents about the incident. A 3 year old can get childhood-trauma because of the bruise, the best opinion is to sue their arses or tell the principal about it. If the principal says straight up BS, actually just sue them

This is for future or current parents with children, watch out for your kid and check-up on them. Ask them if anything is fine or anything, that can boost their love for the parent

I’m so glad that there are great parents in the world that can actually understand and take proper care of their children😊

The way you know this has to be a true story is the way the receptionist reacted when she was silenced and the mom let the girl talk. Not defensive, not mad, but deflecting. She was trying to distract the mom in any way possible, even by a small gesture of anger.

As a daycare worker, this makes me so mad. You should treat those kids as if they’re your own, they trust and rely on us. Even the smallest little scrapes should be treated with a hug ❤

When my nephew was in nursery, we picked him up one afternoon and he kept crying whenever he put pressure on his leg and the nursery kept saying nothing happened and he had been fine. Turns out they had managed to brake his leg while changing his nappy because the girl who was doing and apprenticeship their had twisted him wrong. We then had to deal with social services trying to take him away for the next 2 years

i had a teacher in 7th grade who would give kids "love taps" after we left her classroom. she full on punched us in the shoulder and would often leave bruises. i never said anything to my parents because I was always taught not to overreact to pain, which just led to me never admitting to being hurt. They never questioned the bruises because I got them all the time as a kid.

I'm a senior in high school now and can confidently say I have learned what actions to take whenever I encounter another teacher who is abusing their authority.
