Doesn't matter what she saw. She's responsible. All of these children were in her care as a licensed Day Car Provider. It is obscene that she's now the only one who watches 10 or 12 children, daily. One person cannot watch that many children. The horrified look on Judge Judy's face tells it all.

I appeared before Judge Judy as a kid. She was a Juvenile court judge in Manhattan. She acts exactly like she does on tv in the real life courtroom. She does not play about kids!!!

I loved when she asked why she didn't get her husband the genius to check on the 4 month old. When she called them idiots for letting the 9 yr.old continue playing with the
4 month ruff and pulling the baby around by the feet twisting the baby around and baby won't stop crying! 😱😢
Judge Judy didn't let up on the dumb adults. Poor baby was in surgery hours later with a broken leg🦵😢

This is why daycares, in my province, put an emphasis on separating age groups and enforce the rule of kids keeping their hands to themselves while playing with each other. We staff know accidents are inevitable, so we take precautions to avoid as many accidents as possible. I would be at their side to stop the interaction the moment I saw it.

It’s illegal in my state to operate a daycare like that. You can’t just have gobs of kids in all age ranges together with one person watching. They have ratio guidelines.

What is so disturbing about this is the horrendous behavior of the 9-year-old. I or any of my brothers would have never dreamed of doing such a thing to a baby. We were always cautioned and taught to be careful with babies.
