How to deal with two-faced people

You know the type, who are really nice to you to your face, and then talk behind your back. Just be super professional towards them. Save your warm and friendly self for the people who really care about you.

Be polite and fake? I don't think so. Don't pretend, just be indifferent, but never polite. Be real. Be genuine. Be authentic.

This was a great reminder, at times I get so fed up with insincere/fake people I have to deal with, because insincerity in people is a huge pet peeve with me. At times I feel like I'm surrounded by fake people, it's rare to find people who are genuinely kind and sincere these days.

I have experience this and have dealt with 2 face morons. They are not worth it at all. Save your energy and there's much better things to do and think about than these waste of space especially those who talk bad and then comes to you for help.Carry on as usual, ignore and proceed with your life as I believe in KARMA . I used to work for a woman like that. She would treat certain people like gold if she knew they had money and certain people like garbage if she felt she could get away with it. If she perceived you as being "beneath her" she would treat you like that. She was a horrible boss.

I think this is the best advice possible.  You keep yourself at a higher level and your actions will never prove the two-facer's words.  Tricky waters when you're dealing with someone very clever and hell-bent on her goals.
I have a coworker, whose motivation I believe, is being threatened by me.  She seems to feel a need to cut me down- in subtle ways, behind my back, so that I can never prove it or defend myself.  I do not have to deal with her personally frequently, so that is a blessing.  She was extremely tricky, though, and I feel completely betrayed and foolish because I believed she was genuine at first.  That's the worst part.  That disappointment in human beings. And while I don't have super-healing powers or amazing fight skills, not to mention, no cool swords or red and black suit, I still focus on doing my work with "maximum effort" and keeping away from the bs.

I cut people off like that in my life completely without warning all the time I don't care about people that do that they did it to me once they're done I get rid of them I feel absolutely nothing for them kind of people

This guy at work was showing me some things I was doing wrong at work. I thanked him for taking the time out to showing new things about the job. Right after that he starts going off complaining about me to other people saying that I don't do any work. Totally not true Smh

Those same people that he talk to either make fun of him behind his back or try to avoid talking to him. When they made fun of him I used to defend him telling them he's a good person. However, after that incident I don't speak to him and let people clown him.

Also I never ran my mouth to other people when he leaves the workplace in a mess.
