At the very least this project will keep a bunch of CG artists and video editors employed for a number of years!

The next lines that came up to my mind...."Where all your movements will be tracked, your financial choices will be limited in accordance to the common good. A place without crime, and disturbance, where everyone will be happy"

wonder if something will ever actually be built. Literally seems like an episode out of black mirror.

And coming next: The Square™

A group of tightly intersecting lines, that cross over in a grid-like pattern - Lines lined with transportation opportunities, such as cars, buses, trains, and walking paths; allowing a myriad of travel choices. These lines radiate out from a central nexus point (called the 'CLD' - the Central Line District).

And within the grid, in the dead space, are called 'Blocks'. Blocks contain a 'block' of solid buildings, with no Lines inbetween, which can be accessed from four sides by each of the lines surrounding it.

The megacity is made up of these Blocks, which radiate out from the CLD - In the pinnacle of efficient city design.

You could compress this 170km line into a 6.5 km diameter circle. It's much more efficient, leaves smaller footprint, and much less stupid.

Edit: yall don't understand geometry, the area of the line is 170km x 200m : 34km²
Similar to a circle of 6.5 km diameter: π x 3.25 x 3.25: 33km²

A circular city of 6.5km² diameter would be much better than a 170km line. Alot More efficient

This looks like actual hell to live in. Literally a hive city from 40k.

Local fire departments would have something to say about this...

I like this Teaser. On the Official Trailer, we'll see how a critical failure happens and everything goes to waste, becoming a catastrophic (sci-fi) film and the main character trying to cover those 170 km distance that separates him from his family. Directed by Roland Emmerich.

You get immediate access to the surrounding nature- via a screen in your cell that displays high definition images of the natural world like the ones you see on those huge flatscreen TVs that are on display for sale in electronic appliance shops.

You must have been doing some lines yourselves when you came up with this.

"We will own nothing and like it" concept

When you already build the bottle neck into the concept. 😄

Yeah, not so much. If you want to live compacted into a "line" city thingy go right ahead. I myself like the open spaces where I can travel when, where and how far I want to. Don't fence me in.

“It’s a prison.”
There, I saved you a minute.

Hope it never gets targetted in a war. It'd be the easiest city in history to obliterate with carpet bombing.

Why the f*** would you build a 500 m tall wall city in a desert. Did you know that deserts have a lot of empty space you can, you know build on. I would rather have a small house by the sea than live at the bottom of a hive city

Live in the pod. Eat the bugs. You will own nothing and be happy... or else

A very successful project

The location is very beautiful, there is a variety of terrain, as well as the most beautiful beaches you can see with crystal water, with pure air and acceptable atmosphere.

And many do not know that Mount Sinai is also located in it.

And you can imagine the size of the human flow there, especially as it is located in the heart of the world at an equal distance from all directions.

Really a successful project
