Minecraft AFK Fish Farm 1.20 Tutorial | Easiest Treasure Loot Fish Farm

In this video, I am going to show you how to make a very easy afk fish farm in minecraft. This farm produces a lot of treasure loot and it is so simple to build. You should definitely consider this for your survival world if you want to get unlimited fish, enchanted books etc. Enjoy!

Quick fix: apply bee's wax to the sign.

Review: orientating yourself to start the AFK is jank and inconsistent but it gets the job done until someone figures out a better way, or until your bad RNG convinces you to just start villager trading like a sane human being 7/10.

This is awesome, works like a charm, but I have some remarks:
1. Instead of sign, I recommend using note block, it wont make any sounds because it will be supressed by block above
2. Really pay attention to the boats, don't be afraid to make some maunal correction, as tutorial said, it should be right at the edge

This works for about 3 casts and then the fishing rod won't cast automatically again. Any reason why? I replaced the sign with a chest and a block on top of that as well. I am catching treasure though, so I hope that helps others looking at the comments.

For all who are concerned, it may take a while but it works, yes it gives enchantment books, just be super careful when building it, just one thing being wrong could mean it wont work at all. Im using the 1.20 version for anyone who was wondering, dont know if it works on older versions

for people that don’t know how to fix the problem of the sign edit you can just put a chest with a solid block on top and if the sculk sensor don’t activate you have to replace the two boat, for me this farm works great

It works! For fixing the edit problem with the sign replace it with a note block

This still works good once you figure everything out like exactly where to cast in relation to the boats, etc.. I used the noteblock instead of the sign. Once the trap door wasn't working correctly for me was because a fish that was caught didn't get collected and was floating by the boat triggering the sensor. I moved the boats as far to the right as possible over the chain block and that seemed to work better for me. Once you understand how it works and use it correctly It works really good and gets all the treasure.

it s not working on 1.20.1, i release the fishing rod, and i aim at the note block, and the sculk doesn t trigger when i catch a fish/loot.

For version 1.20, replace the sign with noteblock and aim on that

for anyone who wants to try this with 1.18.2 sculk sensors, dont, it wont work. the sculk sensors then were to in-beta to pick up the sound of the bobber catching a fish

For this farm to work on 1.20.4 u need to use honeycomb on the sign so u can’t edit it then work likes a dream love the farm ❤️❤️

I build identical and it doesn't work, even with a note block and AFK, the sculk doesn't activate

Don´t work in 1.20.2 - The Skulk sensor no longer registers the fishing noises. Do you have a fix?

I have the problem that even tho I actually did everything which was showen in the video, I still do not hook the rod back when I catch something. It just stays up there and never returns, only after I right click by myself. Any Idea?
