In this video I will show you how to make an easy fish xp farm in Minecraft Java and Minecraft Bedrock. With this farm you get Treasure and other good loot. This is the best fish xp farm there is right now. It works in 1.20 but does work in all other versions too.

For those coming to this still confused why its not working for them as far as books and auch. Java has different requirements for treasure loot. If you want fish then this will work fine, however so long as youre in java and not bedrock, you will never get any of the treasure loot with this farm after 1.16 changes

Only problem I'm having is the whole "enchanted books/bows/fishing-pile" thing. I was afk for maybe 3 hours and I still ain't gotten nothing but more fishes and random items

After you throw the lure, holddown right click until you a fish

Bro nothing falls into the hopper it just gets destroyed by the lava. I can just regular fish for all that.

it does not work 4 me because when the fishing bob traps an item the trap door closes and my fishing rod will unhook itsell and hook and it repeats the same thing

This doesn't work because they changed the requirements for a water source to be considered for treasure. Must be a certain size. There are afk builds for it still. I guess for just a little xp it does something. But might as well get that sweet loot at the same time.

Bro why am I not getting actual good stuff all I’m getting out of this is stuff like fish, leather armour, lily pads but no books. I was also afk for about 6 hours. Java edition aswell
