In this episode, I provide an in-depth review of my first 90 days of Bioidentical Hormone Replacement Therapy (BHRT). I’ll cover the benefits I've experienced, such as improved sleep quality, increased physical stamina, and better stress handling. I'll also talk about the challenges, including hair loss and some unexpected side effects. Whether you’re considering HRT/BHRT or just curious about my journey, you won’t want to miss this detailed account of how it has changed my life.

5 Key Lessons:

1. Consistency in Medication is Crucial: Sticking to a strict schedule with my progesterone made a significant difference in how I felt day-to-day. I chose the every-other-day approach and saw substantial benefits.
2. Physical and Mental Improvements: From better workout effectiveness to improved mental clarity and stress management, the gains have been noteworthy, although not without their challenges.
3.  Monitoring and Adjustments are Key: Keeping track of my symptoms and regular consultations with my doctor helped manage side effects like hair loss and changes in my voice.
4. Sleep Quality Matters: One of the most transformative aspects has been the improvement in my sleep, which has had a ripple effect on my overall well-being.
5. Handling Migraines: Managing migraines was challenging, especially around day 18 and day 34. Utilizing medications like Nurtec, trigger point injections and Toradol injection proved to be effective in mitigating these episodes.
