So true.. I've been extremely sarcastic much of my life, and maybe it has ruined many relationships. But its a defense mechanism and a way to deal with inner pain : (

Sarcasm has basically gotten people lost in translation so to speak, even within their first known language. Navigating through conversations of emotional misrepresentation can leave a conversation with the exact opposite intended direction of what you meant to communicate. For many sarcasm is just a subconscious reaction to a conversation.

Thank you for your lecture, Sir. I learned a lot from your speech. To be sincere and genuine in every words I say. And sarcasm actually isn't a true sign of high intelligence person.

At some point if I know someone uses sarcasm a lot, I just ignore them. I don't have the energy or the fucks to give to try and decipher it. Eventually I don't believe a word they say and completely ignore them. I don't use sarcasm unless it's obvious, and never at another's expense. When it's used on me in a monotone I literally don't get it, and others will laugh on the inside and make themselves feel good at my expense, and at some point I just choose not to talk to them, because anything they say cannot be trusted. It's really just a great way of making enemies, or just leaving yourself lonely because you are openly morphing reality at the expense of another person because you're hurt.

I don't trust sarcastic people, as well. Just as a baseline.

I do sincerely appreciate your talk, Collier.
Myself I got a comment once of me being sarcastic, which shocked me really, as I never tried to be that way, or even considered a good thing, yet somehow it had snuck up on me. Now ready to be more sincere again. Thank you!

I'll disagree with most people here, outside of sarcasm as a lifestyle. Sarcasm is situationally, a great way to deal with aggressive people who lack intelligence because there are far too many of those type of people in the world.

So if people believe I’m being sarcastic do I say I don’t like it or disagree to show i do like it or agree or am I still being rude. It’s not always typically sarcasm as oppose to the way others interpret it, as they usually base their opinion on past experiences.

To be honest I’ve lost myself in sarcasm.

No matter how it seems to these sarcastic fools. The truth is : Sarcastic people are toxic and bad for mental health. Sarcasm mixed with arrogance is very potent. Just stay away from these fools.

Most of Sacrist talking people are jelous egoistic in there life.
They have inner pain which they push bad words on others..
They show others down or use scariest words against others to show how they are great than others .

I really feel sacristic talking people are poorest people on planet..

We took sarcasm to the next level in the band. Upon hearing ANY adjective we react quickly by saying "your mother was [adjective]. We are dying in laughter.
-this was very cheap
-your mom was cheap

-[something] was flexible
-your mom was flexible.

The opportunities are endless. Mentioned it to my barber he and other barber barely could finish our hair that day.
