FINISH MIXES QUICKER ⏩

This trick works every single time 👇🏻

Remove yourself from the studio with access to your track 💿

Play it in a completely different environment and take notes while you listen to it 📝

Also, having someone else there with you will suddenly make you hear all of your mistakes 🤷🏻‍♂️

Now you can take your notes back to the studio and make the changes 👍🏻

He’s right the quickest way to hear what’s wrong is play the song to someone else. They won’t even have to say anything you’ll already know

Great point! I don’t listen with other people because I hear the mistakes more. I never thought to use that as a tool to make corrections…THANK YOU STREAKY.

Where do you find the video clips such as the random old woman with the notebook and headphones? Sticks around in the mind.

I have excellent ear buds that I listen to music on all the time. I take my dog for a walk and then I do A/B comparisons of my mixes against albums that I feel are mixed and mastered great. This has worked extremely well for me.
Cheers! 🍻

Now that's what I call a pro- tip!

Even works for me if I just think about playing it to someone else or know they are about to hear it. Suddenly I have a different pair of ears on that are way more critical.

Hell yeah, I listen to it in my car and from my phone, before finalizing a song. listen to it on multiple devices....

Funny how you play a song for someone and you immediately hear what’s wrong without them even saying a word

Thats great, but how do I change it without sacrificing the quality I have in my headphones?
I like how it sounds in my headphones, but not how it sounds in my car, then when I change it to sound good in the car, I end up not liking how it sounds in my headphones.

Hahahhahaha, as a german, decoding english is sometimes not in sync. And as i saw "finish mixes quicker", my head was asking, ohhh, how do people in finland mix

I've seen one thing, All the producers or engineers are talking the same thing.

Seems like there's any book or something that you all read and talking from it 😅
