I used to do it this way and honestly it takes a lot of lower back strength and tires you out more easily, I take one of those adjustable benches, put it on maximum incline, and rest my forehead on my palm on the top of the bench. A lot easier and I’m able to do higher weights, and my lower back is thanking me for it

Edit: it’s called a tripod dumbbell row or a tripod stance dumbbell row, hits the same muscle groups, but instead of taking support from one leg and one arm, you take support from both legs and your arm and your neck

do this to provoke hernias. Never put one knee to the bench, always both feet on the ground. and using a big bx fr arm support of course

Slow and controlled. That's the way to do it in order to really exercise the targeted muscle group while also preventing any possible physical damage.

@tyler-path so I actually worked out back today and did these but I don't feel like I'm working out the lats I feel it almost on my rear shoulders. I noticed also you don't rest the opposite leg on the bench.

And even better if you do it with both legs on the ground and keeping your back straight.

Eliminating the biceps doesn’t do anything for the back because your elbow still ends up at the exact same height with both variations

Wrong grip the end of the bench, one side, use the ball of your toes . Not stretching .

How does it work for lats ? Where is the stretch ? I feel like its a workout for full arm, please i am a beginner who cant afford gym so i have only few dumbbells and kinda maxing out them too
