AMAZING song....I searched all over for this....various sites, I even found Peter Pringle's email address and emailed him directly asking about it. He was VERY pleasant, appreciated my kind words but had no copy of it. I eventually found a 45 record of it, bought it, and bought a machine to record it on MP3 from album...but it was very scratchy sounding....so I LOVE this version. Thank you to the poster of this....gives me chills to hear. I actually almost added this to my list of funeral songs, but did not want my wife of 30 plus years to remember this for that reason, so I went with other songs instead.

This is a fantastic album. Every song on it was great and the record company never made it into a CD when the CD's started being created. What a tragedy. The radio station played several songs off this album all the time back in the 80's and why it was never made into a CD format is beyond me!

This is unreal; I never knew Peter Pringle was an 80's pop singer! I found out about him years ago from his YouTube channel doing this awesome, hauntingly beautiful rendition of the epic of Gilgamesh, which strangely has gone viral as a meme lately?? Totally took me by surprise, but in that same stretch of things was when someone mentioned in the comments that he had put some material out I had to see for myself if any videos containing his music from the 80's were available, and here we are!

Absolutely shocked to discover this; a shame there's no CD of this album. I actually want a copy of this LP if I can get it somehow.
