Показать описание
Gluten free diets are very prevalent, which makes us wonder whether gluten free diets are just a fad and something to ignore or if indeed there are valid reasons to try a gluten free diet.
In this video I define gluten and answer your questions regarding why screening for gluten sensitivities has become a vital sign for some physicians and how this applies to you.
There is a spectrum of gluten sensitivity seen in celiac patients and non-celiac gluten sensitive individuals. Gluten sensitivity is very commonly seen in individuals with autoimmunity and chronic illness. The reasons for this are shown in numerous scientific publications and this is a problem that can no longer be ignored.
Although going on a gluten free diet may not be for everyone, there are compelling reasons to explore how gluten may be affecting your health. This is another way you can use food as medicine.
