Leighton - Another great job of clearly expounding the scriptures in context while never deviating from the plain text as it is written. You have been given a gift to be able to communicate the simple gospel of Christ crucified such that a young child, an uneducated adult, a Biblical scholar, or an unbeliever can be equally blessed by your presentation. In addition, much more than most (including myself), you exemplify the scripture that says, “And be kind to one another, tenderhearted, forgiving one another, even as God in Christ forgave you.” You are a true ambassador for Christ and should be recognized as such, even apart from the Provisionism vs. Calvinism context. 🙏🏼✝️📖😇

It's interesting how Paul/Barnabas said that their listeners judge themselves "unworthy" of eternal life. To me that implies that they were worthy of it. God created us in His image and therefore not being with Him forever is unnatural.

Irresistible Moral Evil, is also a thing. They blameshift and call it "Total Depravity", AS IF to blame the individual for his Irresistible moral evil, which they also claim was pre-ordained by God for all, "before they were born, or had done anything either good or bad".

Before you are exalted, one must humbke himself, but then they will say you can't humble yourself, which is absurd since we do it all the time.
Before we humbled ourselves before God, our faith was with oursleves or false idols, but after being low, we then we receive the faith of God through walking according to His purpose and will, being justified, the just shall live by faith.

Calvinists will most often have the upper hand on you if you come against them via philosophy. I like the Kevin Thompson approach of sticking only to scripture and not philosophy

The more that I see of this deconstruction of Calvinism, the more confident and enthused I am to persuade men to turn to Jesus.

Calvinism but a big dent in that first love.

Ephesians 2:8-9, I really don't get how this is so complicated, I mean grammatically, the only gift spoken of in that verse is grace, It does not say that faith is a gift IN that verse, Yet I see counter argument after counter argument, well in the Greek or well faith is a gift (and it is I get that) but why approach this scripture like this why not acknowledge its not ever read in this verse any way you slice it, once that is established if you want to talk about faith as a gift we can use other scriptures because its not in this one

"But as many as received Him" ..Some receive and others don't. So some use their free will one way and others use it another way. What determines how people use their free will?

I have a knew friend whom is trying to convert me to Calvinism.
When I agreed that God has elected... She said see your a Calvinist... I was like no I'm a Provisionist.

Some one said to me: God gives Faith so you can repent" I said you can't hold to two opposing things at the same time, do you know what "and not of yourself" means? it means repentance, it is the opposite of Faith

I cannot understand how one can reject irresistible grace and accept OSAS. Is seems to me that if the Holy Spirit is resistible before believing it should be resistible after believing as well. How can God's grace be resistible up until becoming a Christian and then become irresistible?
