Dr Leighton’s teaching is so clear and logical that only someone who DOSEN’T WANT to believe it will reject it!

The longer Dr. Boyce spoke, the more convoluted his thesis became, to the point where it was almost unnecessary for Dr. Flowers to respond.

May God empower Dr.Leighton to shine the light of the true Gospel, and expose the heresy of Calvinism

I clearly remember standing there with the Bible in my hand after hearing an angel tell me I needed to do something about Jesus and then showed me where to find my Bible (I had put it somewhere almost 2 years before and didn't even care where it was.). I was not coerced or compelled. I had a choice to either read the Bible or not read it. I chose to read it. When I read Jesus's words I realized the standard by which I would be judged was the two great commandments - love God with all your heart soul and strength and love your neighbor as yourself. I began to be sorrowful because I knew I had not met the standard and was guilty before God and deserved hell. He saved me. I couldn't save myself. I didn't have the power or the knowledge how to save myself but when I read the Bible I knew Who to come to and Who to pray to for help. He gets all the glory.

I don’t know why Calvinists think we wouldn’t want to know Christ without out wills being forced. For me, what could be more fulfilling then knowing God?

You can always tell when someone is wrong because they say SO MANY words to describe a simple word or concept and then build up this massively long distinction without a difference. "it's not God dragging you kicking and screaming...it's God forcing your will to change when your will is and was not in alignment with that change." it makes actually no sense.

John Piper was asked about the passage of resisting the Holy Spirit in Acts, if it was possible. Piper gave a long analogy about a father & child to argue that it wasn't true resistance, but the appearance of resistance.

They abuse God's Word and then conform it over to their man-made systematic.

When calvinists throw in a smattering of semi-scriptural language to make their doctrine sound 🤦‍♂️

How could you possibly get Calvinism from reading the Bible?

The goodness of God LEADS (not forces) us to repentance.

Around the 3 minute mark the Calvinist talks about people who have been shown the grace being made to reflect the character of the giver of that grace. I think the stigma about the way Calvinists think and treat non Calvinists should make us worried about whatever character they’re trying to emulate 🙄

Calvinists are starting to get sneaky. I always thought once the Spirit draws they cannot reject. Now they're saying they can reject until God decides to initiate the irresistible draw?

Why differentiate the 'two graces' if you're just going to say that we can't resist the second. We can't resist the first one either, can we? I don't see the point in differentiating them in order to answer if we can resist God's grace or not. I can't resist the rain falling on me, whether I'm good or bad, nor can I resist the sun being on me. Just more obfuscation it seems to me.

And doesn't God's grace reflect on Him, whether we accept it or reject it? Another meaningless argument it seems to me, that to be a good reflection on God, His gift must be accepted.

What a slander on a loving God to say that He created people to burn in hell without any possibility of repentance. A cruel God does the Calvinist serve.

Amen Brother! Stephen Boyce talks about grace working on the mind, emotions and will. Which is the ‘soul’ and we all have one. Being ‘dead in our trespasses’ refers to our spirit. So I believe the scripture teaches we can receive or reject Christ as an act of our own will, which is very much alive, though separated from God.

Love you Dr. Flower, but I do not agree that this is just a philosophical issue, this is a biblical and salvific issue. The words of the Bible concerning these things are very simple, plain, and clear: Jesus died for all and desires all to come to the knowledge of the truth and be saved. God is a just, impartial, and good God and doesn't wish any to perish. And whoever consciously and willingly teaches doctrines contrary to these biblical truths is to be accursed because they have another Jesus and another gospel. One where Jesus didn't die for the whole world and where salvation is not by grace through faith but only through regeneration, because in Calvinism faith has absolutely nothing to do with salvation. That is clearly another gospel, so we really have to call it for what it is. And this is not being divisive, this is what the Bible calls us to do, calling out false teachings and teachers, and Calvinist teachers are leading many astray. We can say the truth in love but when it comes to these teachings that destroy the Good News of the Gospel and the perfect character of God there is no excuse. God bless, dear brother!
