Why People are MATERIALISTIC

Materialism is really just a disguise for seeking validation, attention, love and acceptance. It's interesting because when people start to make more money they naturally become more materialistic just because we need to constantly give value and meaning to the number in our bank accounts. Most people wake up with the primary goal being to make more money, thats pretty much most peoples reason for waking up each morning. If we stop buying things if we dont translate money to real tangible value you start to have a feeling of emptiness. This is how materialism, society, and capitalism all coincide with each other that creates an endless cycle that feeds the system and keeps the world existing at a certain state. But the reality is that none of us really care about those material items; not even the most materialistic person you know rather theyre seeking something in the form of material items.

great video, it's actually very sad that wherever you look a little deeper you see how the whole deck is stacked against you, colleges, politics, banks, vices, social networks, companies, social pressure, nothing is getting better which all results in the collapse of modern society, and then they ask why there are so many depressions, suicides, so many people live a life of quiet desperation..

I honestly have no desire for specific brands or anything. I make 6 figures but am ok sleeping on a park bench. I do have a few nice things but Iam not attached or defined by them.
