I LOVE your joke but as a real cleaning lady to address some comments: tell your cleaning lady what you want! Be very specific and use communication!! Some people want us to tidy some people dont some people expect us to clean off the desk some people dont. What is normal for one person someone else would not like so its important to make sure your cleaning lady knows what you like and expect! ❤

My cleaning lady has two assistants that undo EVERYTHING she cleans! She'll put all the craft supplies in a basket -- the assistants dump it out! She puts the laundry in a basket -- the assistants dump it out! She makes the bed -- the assistants throw the blankets on the floor and roll themselves up like burritos! She mops the floor -- the assistants spill milk everywhere! I feel like her assistants aren't really much assistance and just make her job harder.

It's me. I'm the cleaning lady, and I have two toddlers who like to help 😂

As someone who has cleaned professionally for YEARS.. you’d be amazed by how some people genuinely behave.. some people will basically clean before you even show up 😅.. but I’ve had some lose their mind because furniture was out of place.. because.. I’d mopped the floor.. and they walked in before it was completely dry and I’d put things back..
That was an ugly day.

I will never work for anyone who doesn’t treat me with respect, you don’t have to be super friendly, but if you’re getting a service, appreciate it. Especially when 99% of these people would NEVER spark off at the plumber or someone else..
I’m a professional, providing a service, one you don’t want to do yourself, or can’t.. either way, APPRECIATE it.
If you don’t, good luck replacing me … especially the last couple of years.. the willing to work, pool of people with references, that you know you can trust in your home is much smaller than ever.. 🤷‍♀️

I watched the video, I know it’s sarcasm and I’ve watched professional cleaner videos saying that unless stipulated on what to do, they will specifically clean (mop floors, wipe surfaces etc) and not clean dishes etc I don’t know why but I think it has to be explained to them what is expected, probably due to any damages that could occur (eg using the wrong cleaning technique etc)

But in reality it is crucial to say very much exactly what you want done. "Just clean the house" is not specific instructions and would trouble both cleaners and those living in the home.

I am this. I have also been ill for 11 weeks.
I tried to hire a cleaning lady.
She had an interview yesterday, she agreed to start next week. Left me a messege on messenger saying
"I've thought about it, and its not what I am looking for"
Grrr
