Nahnahnah multiversus died because they literally shelved the game for a year and a half after selling people battle passes and skins during what was seen as early access then completely remaking the game in unreal and making it feel worse to play. Rivals is a feature complete and fun game that is being justifiably praised rather than something like multiversus
