I love how Harry embraces culture, looking absolutely incredible with the turban on! If you haven’t already go inside the Gurdwara and have langar, the best vegetarian dishes in the world in my opinion.

Harry this Golden Temple is the very place where in 1984 India's biggest internal and probably only last stand battles took place. That whole place was literally a destroyed bombed out debris. Howitzer, Tanks APCs everything was used. It's a tragic yet interesting history of India. This is just for your own knowledge.

Respectfully correcting you: As a foreigner who has visited this holy place, I confirm you are not the first foreigner dipping in the amrit (holy) sar (pond), roughly traslated, and those Sikhs are not police but unpaid volunteers helping with all things needed to make the temple operational daily. They are generally welcoming of those visiting from overseas. When you have a chance revisit the temple with a refreshingly revised experience and truly enjoy the warm welcome.
