Now that's a mom. She doesn't care if her ankle is broken, she needs to see her baby. The way she crawled up in the car seat made me cry.

Shout out to the mother, who despite being incredibly upset manages to provide a prompt and accurate description to the officer.

As a medic myself. I would’ve never talked that mother out of taking her child who was involved in a 60 mph crash out of going to the hospital

Cop who went back to get the mom, told to turn off the radio, advised the mother to take the baby to the hospital is the dude who got his head where it needs to be

Good on the cop for recommending that she take the baby to the hospital, and the mom for taking that advice. She's a good mama, and loves her baby. No doubt about that.

So glad the cop said "as a parent, my baby would be going to the hospital" brain injuries dont always present immediately she's 1 yrs old theres no knowing how she would react to a concussion, saying "just watch her" is crazy

That mama crawling over the grass with a knackered up foot and laying her head on that baby and crying out of relief made me a wee bit teary 😢 little one had angels watching her that day! Hope mum and baby are doing well now ❤

10:30 So random of the paramedic to say “it’s hard to hurt a kid, like I’ve dropped em on the floor…” 😭 like whose babies you be dropping sir? 😭😭

Glad the baby is okay. It's miraculous that the guy turned himself in

I have so much respect for that Cop telling mom to get that second opinion from the hospital.

Over 30 years in EMS. That medic/EMT is a fool for not insisting that they transport that

I’m a firm believer in: “All children deserve parents, not all parents deserve children.” This parent ABSOLUTELY deserves to have children. The unconditional love for a child is something I desperately hope to experience one day.

Best interaction I’ve seen with a medic and a cop 😂 “it’s too loud” “BOOOOP”

Its the first guy ever that knows what he did wrong and at least seems to understand the problem is inside his head.

Cared more about her baby than herself or anything else.
Good description of the guy.
Protective as hell.
Good job, momma. <3

Mom got me crying.... you can tell she was not going to lose it or cry about her ankle til she saw her baby was safe. Keeping her cool like that, she's a super hero!

Very good officer telling her that while he trusts the paramedics, he'd be on the way to the hospital. But weird af the paramedics didn't want to...60 mph accident for a 1 year old whose carseat tipped over in the crash. Definitely sounds like a doctor should be the one making clearance on that child.

That officer is right about the baby. Take the baby to the hospital to be checked. Good job to these officers.

He violently stole a car with a baby in it from her pleading mother because he needed it to get to work so he could better himself ? What a guy.

These officers were awesome throughout the entire ordeal, especially telling mom to take the whole family to the hospital just to be safe. Also, it sucks that he put himself into the situation in the first place, but kudos to the dude for turning himself in and asking for some help.
