I can't keep from thinking how traumatized that "other" little daughter must have been! I feel bad for her, too. The two-year old may not remember a lot of what took place on this occasion, but her sister will no doubt recall this horrifying incident for the rest of her life. Prayers for both of them.

I can’t imagine looking away for a second and turning back to see a stranger holding your child with a knife. I’m so happy that the kid was able to get back into her mothers arms.

Just imagine how that officer felt. As justified as that was, it must be a hard thing for anyone to have to kill someone. So much respect to those who risk their lives for our safety.

This is why I tell my husband I don’t want to take my young children shopping alone. They like to target moms alone with their children.

The officer not only saved the little girl but also Saved the county MILLIONS in Free Lawyers, Court Costs and Prison/mental hospital time. Good for him

I worked as a security guard at a mall, and seeing a child getting kidnapped triggers my PTSD since I lost my little brother when I was 12 because he was kidnapped and he was never found nor the kidnapper, and I still have that pain of losing my brother. If I see any child being kidnapped, I'll do anything to save them. Last time while I was working at the mall, I saw a child being alone by himself, and then I saw a man grabbing the child. I reacted quickly and went as fast as possible to reach that man I suspected of kidnapping. I ran towards the suspect man and beat him in a fountain. Turns out the man I suspected of kidnapping was only the child's father and I got fired from my job. It was a misunderstanding, but the trauma made me act this way. Now I have to work the night shift at a local pizzeria which has very low pay.

Every parents WORST fear.This is why I won't let strangers touch my kids, people have asked me in Walmart if they can hold my baby girl, many times in fact, it's always very weird but my answer no matter what remains the same, I'm sorry but no. Watching this made me emotional for mom, baby & little sister.. this must have been terrifying
