HOW CAN I HELP YOU? 👇

I’m going to give you specific, actionable tips to adapt to and make it easier for kids with ADHD to focus and deal with distractions. To truly help children with ADHD, we need to think about - how do we adapt to and accommodate a brain that works differently, vs. trying to get our kid to change to how we think they should be or or how a lot of the world expects them to be.

I find going on drives with my 15yo daughter is very helpful to remove distractions and have great conversations. We have had many great conversations on a variety of topics over the years. We've used this strategy since she was 8 years old. Its been a way to bond and learn. The movement of the car is calming for her. A lot of times she will ask if we can go for a drive.

Soo I homeschool my undiagnosed (diagnosed) adhd child. Idk how to get her 2 year old brother to not pick that time to come in and through tantrums galore 😅. I even make sure to give him time just us. My daughter is a lot better since I took the poster down from the wall. It’s not just her lil brother.
Hahaha. So asking him to leave or shhh is like “what you say to me! You want me to scream and cry!” Cue! Hahaha

I'm so glad I found your channel. We got the ADHD diagnosis on Monday for my 7-year-old and I'm overwhelmed with options and strategies. Your channel has been incredibly helpful. Thank you!
