Sir Keir Starmer has warned voters that his plans to change Britain will “take time”, as he said that a more sluggish economy means “this is a very different moment to 1997”.

The Labour leader set out the six “first steps” his party would take in government but sought to manage expectations by cautioning that it would take up to ten years to fulfil his plans.

“This is going to take time,” Starmer told activists at a rally in Essex to unveil his new Tony Blair-inspired pledge card.

“This is a very different moment to 1997, after the damage that’s been done in the last 14 years.”

The only reason this chap has a sniff at power is because the Tories have failed at being conservative.

I don't believe a word any of our politicians say, due to their awful track record.

Only six promises for him to break should he become Prime Minister, unlike the ten promises he made prior to becoming leader of the Labour Party and has subsequently broken. The sad thing is it won't only be broken promises should he come to power it will be broken Britain.

His plan to lower illegal immigrant numbers is to fast-track them to UK citizens so they can vote Labour.

Getting back to serving the people rather than lining the pockets of Tory donors and their mates sounds good to me.

Step FIVE should be number ONE: things are already out of control and community officers are not going to have the power to fight this - it's gonna take an *ARMY*

The two cheeks of the same ars need to go! The same old, same old making the same mistakes and not making progress at the things that really matter. Now having a go at the most vulnerable in society whilst ensuring their own pockets are full as usual! We’re not that stupid to fall for them again!!!

You know when politicians are soon as they start to talk.

So ending zero hour contracts, stopping channel crossers, making houses more affordable and preventing rich landlords from buying up homes and renting them out to multiple not-well-off young people are not part of your first steps in power Sir Keir?.... Still not got my vote yet then.

So he doesn't rate stopping immigration, reducing the population, fixing the roads, reducing prices, stopping foreign ownership of our industries and making public services serve the public.

Starmer honours his pledges like he respects our rights, i.e. not at all.
Remember also that he, as DPP, tried to fast-track the prosecution of Julian Assange.
